PLEXOS 2007 European User Group Meeting, Sept 2007

The PLEXOS 2007 European User Group Meeting was held on 11 and 12 September. The 2007 meeting can only be labelled as a great success given the positive reactions we received from the attendees:

  • “Thanks a lot for a great meeting”
  • “Great job!”
  • "Well run event, in a well chosen venue”
  • "The PLEXOS User Group was wonderful and I especially enjoyed meeting other users”

The 2007 meeting was a special occasion as it gave the users a first peak at the new PLEXOS 5.0. For that purpose Glenn Drayton, the chief architect of PLEXOS, attended the meeting from Australia. In addition to PLEXOS 5.0, several key areas of PLEXOS methodology and application that are of interest to PLEXOS users were discussed during a number of methodology sessions. Most of the sessions consisted of a presentation followed by Q&A and discussions.
