HISTORY

Elan was founded in 2000. In order to optimally serve clients in the main Continental European markets, Elan was located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Initially, Elan focussed on consulting services, particularly market studies for the north-west European power and gas markets.

From 2001, Elan became the exclusive European reseller for PLEXOS for Power Systems. This was the beginning of a long period of very close co-operation between Elan and Drayton Analytics (now Energy Exemplar), the developers of PLEXOS.

After five years of working with PLEXOS and undertaking product marketing, the growth in PLEXOS clients became very significant. Today, the primary focus of Elan is on the licensing, implementation, training and support for PLEXOS.
